subscribeMuhanad Seloom is an assistant professor in critical security studies at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and a researcher at the Strategic Studies Unit in the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (ACRPS). He is also an honorary research fellow at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, where he lectured from 2016 to 2018. His main fields of specialization include national security, intelligence studies, military and strategic studies, and counterterrorism. He is currently working on a research project titled, “Covert Currents of the Cradle: A History of Iraq’s Intelligence.”
