Hussam Hammoud is a Syrian investigative journalist from Raqqa who has documented war crimes, jihadist networks, and human rights abuses across Syria since the start of the 2011 revolution. He has published pieces with the New York Times, the BBC, Al Monitor, Middle East Eye, and New Lines Magazine, amongst others.
