Bio

Giorgio Cafiero is the CEO of Gulf State Analytics, a Washington, DC-based geopolitical risk consultancy. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Georgetown University, a Non-Resident Fellow at Orion Policy Institute, and an Adjunct Fellow at the American Security Project. Cafiero is a frequent contributor to The New Arab, Gulf International Forum, TRT World, Stimson Center, and Amwaj.Media. Cafiero has consulted numerous public and private sector organizations throughout his career, provided briefings to diplomats from various countries on Gulf affairs, and worked as a subject matter expert for multinational law firms. Cafiero holds an M.A. in International Relations from the University of San Diego.
