Bio
Carlos Mendez is a PhD. Candidate at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and a Research Associate at Qatar Environment & Energy Research Institute (QEERI). As an Electrical Engineer by trade, Carlos has experience in both industry and research sectors. In industry, his expertise is in the design, implementation, and maintenance of backup power systems, while in research, he focuses on Renewable Energy, Multisystem Approach, Hydrogen utilization, Energy Transition, and Policy Analysis.
