Bio
Andrey Kortunov was the Director General and Academic Director at the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) based in Moscow from 2011 until 2025. He previously held various positions at the Institute on U.S. and Canada Studies, including Deputy Director. He taught at universities around the world, including the University of California, Berkeley. In addition, he led several public organizations involved in higher education, social sciences, and social development. He is a member of several expert and supervisory committees, as well as on the board of trustees of several Russian and international organizations. His academic interests include contemporary international relations and Russian foreign policy.
