Berkay Mandıracı
Senior Türkiye Analyst, International Crisis Group
Bio
Berkay Mandıracı currently works as a Senior Türkiye Analyst at the International Crisis Group and is a PhD candidate in Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University. His research and professional work focuses on Türkiye’s foreign policy, conflict mediation, the Middle East, and the changing role of middle powers in global peace and security. In 2025–26, he was a Fox International Fellow at Yale University’s MacMillan Center, where he advanced his doctoral research. Before joining Crisis Group, he worked at the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV) on judicial and security-sector reform and on an EU–Turkish Ministry of Justice Twinning project. He holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Bremen.”
