Luciano Zaccara

Bio
Luciano Zaccara is a research associate professor at the Gulf Studies Center at Qatar University. He is also a visiting associate professor at Georgetown University in Qatar and the director of the Observatory on Politics and Elections of the Arab and Muslim World (OPEMAM) in Spain. Previously, Zaccara was a postdoctoral fellow at the Autònoma University of Barcelona where he earned a PhD in Arab and Islamic Studies. He was formerly a visiting researcher at Exeter University’s Institute for Arab and Islamic Studies and a visiting researcher at Princeton University’s Center for Iran and Persian Gulf Studies.
