The Argentine Council for International Relations and the Middle East Council on Global Affairs Sign MoU at the Doha Forum

The Middle East Council on Global Affairs (ME Council) and the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI) have signed an MoU to enhance cross-regional collaboration on global governance and international affairs. Through joint research, policy papers, and expert exchanges, the partnership will address key issues including great-power competition, middle-power agency, conflict and security, and the rising influence of the Global South. By combining CARI’s expertise in Latin American affairs with the ME Council’s deep knowledge of MENA dynamics, the agreement aims to generate timely insights, strengthen policy dialogue, and advance informed debate on today’s most pressing geopolitical and economic challenges.

Doha Hosts the 21st Korea–Middle East Cooperation Forum

The 21st Korea–Middle East Cooperation Forum convened senior officials, policymakers, and experts in Doha to advance dialogue and collaboration under the theme “A Partnership for Peace and Prosperity.” Co-organized by the ME Council, KAS, and the Jeju Peace Institute, the forum explored geopolitical shifts, future industries, and youth leadership.

Senior Health Officials from the Global South Gather in Doha to Discuss the Future of Health Policy

The convening concluded on October 15 with a high-level public panel titled: “Reimagining Global Health Financing: Priorities and Integration in the Global South.” In her opening address, Her Excellency Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reaffirmed that this initiative holds special significance for the State of Qatar, as it embodies its vision for cooperation, innovation, and collective responsibility in promoting global health.”
