The Middle East Council on Global Affairs (ME Council) and Qatar Research, Development & Innovation (QRDI) Council, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Doha Forum to deepen collaboration on scientific research, development, and innovation.
The 21st Korea–Middle East Cooperation Forum convened senior officials, policymakers, and experts in Doha to advance dialogue and collaboration under the theme “A Partnership for Peace and Prosperity.” Co-organized by the ME Council, KAS, and the Jeju Peace Institute, the forum explored geopolitical shifts, future industries, and youth leadership.
The convening concluded on October 15 with a high-level public panel titled: “Reimagining Global Health Financing: Priorities and Integration in the Global South.” In her opening address, Her Excellency Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reaffirmed that this initiative holds special significance for the State of Qatar, as it embodies its vision for cooperation, innovation, and collective responsibility in promoting global health.”
The Middle East Council on Global Affairs hosted a high-level roundtable on water diplomacy and governance in the MENA region, bringing together regional and international experts to explore cooperative solutions for water scarcity, transboundary governance, and peacebuilding across the Middle East and North Africa.
