Saleh Al-Mutairi

Bio

Saleh Al-Mutairi is a nonresident senior fellow at the Middle East Council on Global Affairs.

Prior, Al-Mutairi held several leadership positions in Kuwait’s media and government sectors. Most notably, he served as a consultant at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information and as general manager of news and political programs at Kuwait Television, where he contributed to developing news content and enhancing political coverage. He also served as head of measurement and evaluation at the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, where he worked on developing institutional evaluation mechanisms and improving performance efficiency.

Al-Mutairi is a regular contributor of opinion and analytical articles to the Qatari newspaper Al-Raya, focusing on political and media issues, as well as regional and international affairs.

He holds a PhD in public administration and a master’s degree in total quality management in media.
