Ghalya Al Thani is a nonresident fellow at the Middle East Council on Global Affairs. She also serves as the director of talent management at Qatar Foundation and a member of the advisory board of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
Al Thani previously held senior roles at Qatar Leadership Center, including director of programs and research manager, and served as director of international cooperation at Qatar’s National Human Rights Committee.
Her research focuses on stakeholder engagement in public policymaking, leadership development, and human capital strategies, with recent publications in Education Sciences and Societies. Previously at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, her research examined stakeholder engagement in the public education policymaking in Qatar.
