Bio

Meissa Haouari is a Research Assistant at the Middle East Council on Global Affairs for the Conflict and Security Program. She holds a Master’s degree in Politics and Economics of the Middle East from King’s College London, where her thesis focused on state responses to mass mobilization in Algeria, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from SOAS University of London. Her research interests include conflict dynamics, governance, migration, and youth engagement.
