Closed Policy Roundtable with the EU Middle East and Gulf Working Party

On November 28, the Middle East Council on Global Affairs hosted a closed policy roundtable featuring Mr. Anders Ostervang, Chair of the EU Middle East and Gulf Working Party (CFSP) at the European External Action Service, along with a high-level delegation visiting Doha.

The roundtable convened ME Council experts and a group of academics to discuss the latest developments in the region. Key topics included the ongoing conflict in Gaza and Lebanon and its wide-reaching ramifications, the situation in Yemen, and the evolving political and security dynamics in Iran. The roundtable also explored intra-GCC relations in the context of recent international developments.
